Each collar is made by hand and requires 12 hours for the beadwork alone. The beading is done on a loom by our beading ladies following an ancient tradition. The beadwork is then brought to our workshop and attached to the leather piece by our leather artisans. The beads are not directly sewed to the leather for enhanced aesthetic. We don't use glue either! As a result, the beadwork seems to float on the leather with no stitching visible. Not only does this beading method improves the look of the collars, it also allows for flexibility of the beadwork which makes it extremely resistant. As a result, even if one bead were to detach, the rest of the beadwork will not unravel. This attention to details, expertise and durability is what make our dog collars so popular and unique. As a luxury designer brand, all Sambboho products have been designed to last you many years. This is why we only use material of the highest grade. All dog collars use 100% full grain leather made of one piece to prevent easy breaking. The one piece means we don't use leather leftovers patched together. Our premium grade leather is treated with organic beeswax for water resistance. Our beads are made of glass and are not painted. While traditional collars use plastic painted beads, we use Slovakian sun reflecting glass beads to withstand water and UV exposure. The heavy duty buckles are nickel coated and will resist strong pulling and prevent rusting. We stand behind the quality of our products. Our collars are backed up by a 1 year replacement service which covers early breaking or unraveling under normal wear and tear conditions.
